BlackBerry TK Discovery 3.0 With BB OS 10
Designer: Guy Bridges
Designer Guy Bridges also known as
DigitalHomeBoy has come up with the concept of BlackBerry TK
Discovery 3.0. The concept phone gets its future technology in form
of BB OS 10 and is powered by a quad-core processor.
Bridges has given us a display with
no-bezel technology or in other words, edge-to-edge display. The
phone is pretty skinny at 9.1mm and weighs 120 gm. The display is a
curved Gorilla Glass technology and measures 4.3” diagonal. The
screen is a HD screen with a supported resolution of 1280x720p. The
casing or the body comes with a very highend material called “Wonder
Material”. This is a graphite composite known as the graphene which
is known for its ability to waterproof and rustproof any material
when applied on the surface. The Wonder Material is also known to be
used in fields of nuclear power generation.
The BlackBerry TK Discovery 3.0 has
been conceptualized by Bridges to be a world phone. This means that
the phone can operate in both GSM and CDMA network and supports dual
band. The phone is also made to support BBM, Adobe Flash and LTE. The
phone has nicely introduced Google Play and BlackBerry App World
giving more flexibility to the users.
Some of the other technologies
supported include Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPS, DLNA, WiFi and e wallet.
The phone comes with a massive 32 GB Samsung flash memory support. At
the core is a quad-core Tegra 3 2.2 GHz processor from Nvidia. A 230
GPU supports the CPU for hyper graphics acceleration. The rear camera
has a modest 12 MP camera considering the 41 MP PureView is already
there in the market. However, the camera comes with full HD video
capture ability and sports Carl Zeiss Crystal optics. Under the hood
is the battery unit with 1950 mAh power.
