BlackBerry Wind Weds Windows Phone Pro Plus BB Tools
Designer: Valentin Gallard
How about a BlackBerry phone running on
Windows platform? Valentin Gallard has come up with the concept that
looks like a nice possibility in near future. The BlackBerry Wind
concept phone will run on Windows Phone Pro platform. What's unique
is the harmoney between BB tools and Windows MS Office applications.
Yes, I know what you are thinking! You
have heard of the rumors of Microsoft's plan to acquire Research In
Motion. If that is a possiblity then this new concept might go out of
mere design into real time manufacturing house.
The device as envisioned by Gallard
will have a line of polycarbonate at the back which makes is more
pleasing than a mere shiny black block. The Wind will be powered by a
dual-core processor with a clock ticking at 1.5 GHz and it will have
4G LTE support. To me, the display resolution is on a bit
disappointing scale of 1024x600 px.
Thickness is acceptable at 8 mm and the
camera on the back will have 8 MP sensor. The front camera will have
a 2 MP sensor. The screen will have the luxury of being protected by
Gorilla Glass 2. There will be soft keys and yes, you will get stereo
speakers as well.
