Google Nexus 2013 – Well Executed Concept
Designer: Bob Freking
Bob Freking has been up for designing
Nexus phones from Google. This time he has come up with the Nexus
2013 – a concept very well executed. The phone will be sold by
Google Wireless Carrier – Google's own wireless network and Google
will handle everything about the phone including hardware, software
and network. Click on the images and see them in lightroom!
The idea from Freking comes with the
announcement of Google Wireless, which will be selling 4G plans at a
very cheap rate. The supported phones will not have a bloatware. This
means that the phones will be slimmer and there will in integrated
SIM. This in turn means, there will be no SIM card to be bought
separately.
This amazing new concept technology or
perhaps the future technology will be coming with 4.8”, 1600x900
AMOLED display and Nvidia's Tegra 4, 1.6 GHz quad-core processor will
be powering the device. There will be an HD camera at the back with
13.1 MP resolution and a 2 MP video calling camera on the front.
The Nexus 2013 will come at a price of
$299 unlocked and $49 Google Wireless locked. The phone runs on the
latest iteration of Google Android OS codenamed Key Lime Pie. The
phone will also have Google G and Google Now updated versions which
will allow the users to make calls and send texts to other Android
4.2 devices. Just for your info, 4.2 Android is Key Lime Pie. Google
Fibre service is also included in the phone.
From the design aspect, the phone is
simply cool. There are cool lines on the rear of the phone having a
shape of the Nexus logo. These are actually capable of glowing when
there are notifications. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass and
the body of the phone is made of polycarbonate. There is a massive
3000 mAh battery packed under the hood.
I found out the details to be Sun
