Jolla Phone Concept - Teardrop Design

Designer: Shihuzaan

Of late Nokia has been taking hit in form of losing some top grade designers, engineers and other experts. Many of them have joined the start up firm called Jolla which promised us a new OS, the Jolla OS which is looked upon as a Meego follow-up. It is for the first time that we can see a new concept Jolla phone as sent by Shihuzaan to “conceptphones”.

Jolla plans to come up with its first phone this year. However, people do expect that it will be something of the nature of Nokia N10. The mockup concept design by Shihuzaan shows a completely touch phone with 'j' etched in the place where we generally expect a home button. This 'j' will serve as an LED notification.

The concept design shows to have a display of 854x480 px resolution measuring 3.9” diagonal. USB OTG, sync and mass storage will be there. The other visitors are 8 GB storage, microSIM card and microSD card slot and a loudspeaker duo at the bottom part of the phone. The phone looks like an inverted teardrop...that's kinda design.

8MP full HD video capture camera on the rear, 2MP front camera and lock, volume and camera buttons on the right makes the phone complete.
