Nokia 809 – A Frightening Rotating Camera

Designer Mkrtchyan Edgar who gave us
Nokia
Lumia 960, Nokia
Lumia 720 and Nokia
Lumia 1001 is now back with Nokia 809. However, this time Edgar
frightened me a lot because of the rotating camera.
It is not that I am afraid because the
camera rotates but because when the camera of the concept phone
rotates, a part of the top edge of the screen follows it religiously
without fail! The 41 MP PureView camera has that amazing power to
steal a part of the screen when it is rotated for taking shots in
different directions!
Anyways, the Nokia 809 comes with
straight lines but it has curved edges. The design is pretty
asymmetrical. The phone is fancied to be powered by a 1.5 GHz
dual-core processor and it comes with a xenon flash for supporting
the PureView element. The camera will have 3X optical zoom and it
will be capable of capturing videos at 1080p.
On the front is the ClearBlack
Technology for 4.3” AMOLED display. The screen comes with a Gorilla
Glass safety and is packed with 1280x768 pixels resolution. 32 GB and
64 GB models are the only two versions available.
Among other features you will get MeeGo
or Windows Phone 8 OS and there will be Bluetooth, NFC, DLNA, HDMI,
microUSB port and slot for microSD card. The phone comes with a 2800
mAh battery and it looks like that the body is made of polycarbonate.
