Nokia Lumia 720: Retouched Mockup

Untitled Document
Designer: Edgar Mkrtchyan

Some time back we wrote about Nokia Lumia 720 mockup by Edgar. This time the designer decides to go back and retouch the same model, giving it a bigger look. This new version may be somewhat alluring for some people but I personally do not hold much soft corner for this new mockup. It looks like a polished brick big enough to give a lethal hit to anyone when it is targeted and thrown towards the head!

Almost all aspects of the previous design have been retained but this time, it is bigger and bulkier with a big battery! This time, a microUSB port manages to chip in along with an audio jack. Speakers have also been retouched to make them bigger. There are sliders for unlock and volume but the whole device can also be muted using the slider button.

Let us take a look at some of the probable tech specs of the design.

Conclusion

It is a big bulky phone. Technology keeps getting better. More power can be thrown into slimmer devices. I didn't really see any kind of logic behind this upgrade. I don't look at it as an upgrade but as a fall back into Ancient History. Your opinion may be different on this. I will be happy to know what you think. I don't really disrespect Edgar for what he is doing. He is a great designer and can think out of the box unlike me. Still, this did not manage to impress me.
