Pedal-less Fliz Bike: Modern Stupidity?

Everything we know in this world evolves to something better, something advanced and we prefer moving ahead and never think of discovering time machines that will take us back in time where we adopt things from Stone Age to make them a living reality in the world of Nano-tech and Deep Space expeditions.

However, German designers had something different in mind. The old school walking bike of hobby-horse-style is back here! What is that? A pedal-less bike (Fliz Bike) that even gets rid of a seat! This time, the rider is not on top of the bike, rather it is the bike which is on top of the rider.

Essentially, the rider hangs from a huge frame. On both end of the frame are two wheels and there is a handle in the front, which looks like one to be blessed with brakes. Why? If pedals can be taken away, why not the brakes?

The designer wanted people not to be lazy so, he could have only augmented physical exercise by hammering out the brakes. I believe it would have been better because, it would take a hell lot of physical energy to stop that piece of speeding stupidity. Take a look at the video. The way the rider hangs from the frame, I strongly believe that anyone heavy and bulky will end up with severe pain in ball and socket joints and those who have some serious problems with their back, they will be pissed off!

Are we facing modern stupidity or are we open some portal where we can usher back into the dark ages? Honestly, if you happen to ride this bike in front, I will laugh myself to death because, there are many smarter methods if you really want to quit being lazy! Let me tell you that this one was sent for James Dyson design award. If this one wins then…I don't know…seriously, I don't know what!
