Janggu Inspired Rope Stool

Do you know what a janggu is? It is a drum that is used in traditional music of Korea. OK, here is an honest confession; I had to Google the meaning! Anyways, Minki Kim was inspired by Janggu.

This inspiration led to a very innovative and creative design for the new Rope Stool. The janggu drum comes with a slim waist that represents the hourglass shape. The same effect has been retained in this stool.

The best part of this stool is its amazing engineering that makes it very green! It is free of adhesives and there isn't even one single screw in the whole structure. The entire structure is held in one piece using 1 dowel and 3 ropes only!
