Ebie Award Design For UGC

Designer: Mark Pernice

Mark Pernice designed the Ebie Award for the Urban Green Council. The motive behind the creation of this design was come up with some that had the following characteristics:

• Simple
• Beautiful
• Progressive
• Familiar
• Ethereal
• Earthly
• Organic in material
• Devine in aesthetics

Now that's a big list and contains some features that are very contrasting like earthly and ethereal, familiar yet progressive. Nonetheless, Mark did the job and it was a job well done. He came up with the captivating cube as the Ebie Award.

What's amazing is that every award will have identically the same shape but will have a different meaning based on the perception of the viewer.

Mark used the affordable bioresin to create this Ebie Award cube. The material provides a smoky and soft aesthetics and the color variation will be changing every year.
